1. 为方便孩子服用,我们调整了片剂大小,因此建议服用量由之前的2粒咀嚼片改为3粒咀嚼片。而口味则调整为草莓味,味道更佳,虽然口感上也甜度有所提高,但是含糖量控制在合理的范围内,所以不会因此对孩子有太大影响。
2.随着国民生活水平的提高,配合国民的饮食习惯,儿童全能营养素(二代)改良至每三片可提供900mcg维生素A,38mg维生素E,以减低孩子对维生素A及E摄取量较高的可能性。
3. 配合全国逐步推广和实施了全民食盐加碘,我们适当的减低儿童全能营养素里面的碘含量,调整至每三片新版儿童全能营养素可提供碘100微克,更加符合国内儿童的生长发育需求。
4. 儿童全能营养素(二代)升级至每3片可提供维生素K1和K2各40毫克,更在原本的基础上还添加了叶黄素5毫克,玉米黄质素1毫 克。

VITAMINS
Vitamins are a type of Essential nutrients that children needs to survive and stay healthy. Vitamins have different jobs to help keep the body working properly. Vitamins help children body grow and work the way it should. There are 13 essential vitamins — vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and the B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, B6, B12, and folate) that body needs, and they are all included in this product.
1. Vitamin A plays an important role with eyesight, skin, cell production, immune system, and protection from infections, helping children develop normally. Vitamin A is critical for vision as an essential component of rhodopsin, helping the eyes to be able to see clearly in low light conditions [3][4]. According to the World Health Organization, children with vitamin A deficiency have a higher risk of visual impairment and of illness and death from childhood infections, such as measles and infections that cause diarrheal diseases [5][6].
2. Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid plays an important role in bone and teeth formation, which are super important during children formative years [7]. It is also critical in wound healing and the maintenance of healthy gums [7]. One of best known functions of Vitamin C, is its role in supporting the body’s immune system. “Because vitamin C is an antioxidant and vital to maintaining overall health, it actually can help boost your little one’s immune system if they have the sniffles,” says Dr. Radhakrishnan, a Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, United States. Antioxidants help reduce damage to cells from free radicals in the body. Vitamin C is also highly concentrated in immune cells, which suggests that it’s an immune-boosting agent [8].
3. Vitamin D is essential for building and maintaining healthy bones and respiration system. While many know that calcium is a primary component of bone growth and development, not everyone knows that calcium can only be absorbed by human body when vitamin D is present [9]. Vitamin D helps regulate the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body. These nutrients are needed to keep bones, teeth and muscles healthy. Kids build bone throughout their childhood and adolescence, so getting enough of both calcium and D is critical during that time. A lack of vitamin D can lead to bone deformities such as rickets in children [10].
Respiratory tract infections (RTIs) are common in children, and vitamin D deficiency was shown to be associated with increased risk of RTI. Thus, vitamin D3 supplementation was accepted by medical community as an important nutrient, which reduces the risk of respiratory problems in children. It is, however, important to remember that vitamin D3 should be supplemented with vitamin K2 [11].
Recent study also “ suggest that vitamin D supplementation might play a role in the prevention and/or treatment to SARS-CoV-2 infection disease, by modulating the immune response to the virus both in the adult and pediatric population.”[12]
4. Kids need Vitamin E to build their immunity. Vitamin E is an important vitamin that also acts as a powerful antioxidant, which helps to protect cells against damage caused by free radicals. There is little difference between the natural and synthetic forms of most vitamins. But with vitamin E, natural is better. Natural vitamin E is listed as d-alpha-tocopherol (RRR-α-tocopherol) , d-alpha tocopheryl succinate, which may be followed by the words "acetate," "succinate," or "acid succinate" , as you can see on Reju® Essentials Premium II for Kids . Researchers have found that natural vitamin E assimilates far better than synthetic versions. Researchers at Oregon State University, Corvallis, found the human body excretes synthetic vitamin E three times faster than the natural form. [13]
5. Vitamin K is a group of vitamins found in some green vegetables. There are 2 kinds of Vitamin K:Vitamins K1 (phytonadione) and K2 (menaquinone). The main function of all types of vitamin K is to activate proteins that serve important roles in blood clotting, heart health and bone health.
Clinical evidence in child populations has shown that Vitamin K2 activates protein that performs crucial biological functions that range from bone mineralization and healthy teeth, through promoting cardiovascular health, to maintaining brain development, joint health, and optimal body weight [14].
Children have the highest needs for K vitamins, since bone formation and development are most intense during childhood and adolescence. The higher the bone mass acquired before the age of 20–25, the better prognosis for good bone health later in life, as bone mass declines throughout adulthood [15]. Current research shows the important synergistic relationship between Vitamin K2 and Vitamin D3. Taking Vitamin D3 with Vitamin K2 helps to ensure the calcium transported by the Vitamin D is absorbed easily and reaches the bone mass, while preventing arterial calcification. Clinical observations show that arterial calcification and atherosclerosis is a progressive process that accumulates over decades [16][17]. Research has demonstrated that the beginnings of arterial calcification have been observed in otherwise healthy children. Results of many epidemiological studies showed that vitamin K2 is cardioprotective. An optimal vitamin K2 intake is, therefore, important to support cardiovascular health [18,19,20].
Vitamin K2 works in connect with calcium and vitamin D and appears to have a significant antioxidant role. Therefore, vitamin K2 can help to considerably reduce tooth decay while also appearing to play a prospective saliva-buffering role in the parotid and other salivary glands [21].
6. Thiamine (also known as Vitamin B1) is used by tissues throughout the body. This vitamin helps turn the foods into energy and is critical to maintain good health. Thiamine is a water-soluble vitamin and has an important role in energy metabolism and helps activate enzymes involved in energy metabolism [22]. Therefore, it's necessary for cells to function properly and for promoting optimal growth and development [22].
7. Riboflavin (also known as Vitamin B2) works as an antioxidant, fighting damaging particles in the body known as free radicals [23]. Riboflavin is also needed to help the body change vitamin B6 and folate into forms body can use [23]. It is also important for growth and red blood cell production [23]. Adequate riboflavin intake promotes healthy skin and good vision [23].
8. Niacin (also known as Vitamin B3) is important for converting calories from protein, fat and carbohydrates into energy [24]. It also helps in promoting healthy digestive system functioning as well as maintaining a healthy appetite [24].
9. Also known as Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin. That means Vitamin B6 is needed every day since the body can’t store water-soluble vitamins, says Sonya Angelone, RDN, a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Vitamin B6 plays key roles in keeping the brain and nervous system functioning properly, says Angelone. ‘’Vitamin B6 is involved in production of hemoglobin, the protein in blood that carries oxygen throughout the body.” Vitamin B6 is needed for proper brain development in children [25].
10. Folate (or Folic acid) is another name for Vitamin B9. Kids need folate from before birth through their early development and all the way into adulthood. Folate plays key roles in helping cell and tissue growth [26]. Folate also helps form red blood cells, produce DNA, and works with other nutrients to help use and create new proteins in the body [27]. Children need folate to make red blood cells. Folate deficiency may caused shortage of red blood cells — a condition known as folic acid deficiency anemia.
11. Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is an important water-soluble vitamin involved in red blood cell production, brain health, and DNA synthesis [28]. 12. Biotin (also known as vitamin H or vitamin B7) is crucial in maintaining healthy hair and skin [30]. It also supports the cellular metabolism. Children need biotin to break down the food that they eat and turn it into energy [30]. All the cells in children body need biotin so that they can grow and develop properly [30].
13. Pantothenic acid, also called calcium D-pantothenate or Vitamin B5, is vital to living a healthy life. Like all B complex vitamins, B5 helps the body convert food into energy [31]. It also helps to create red blood cells and maintain a healthy digestive tract [31]. Some studies have found that taking pantothenic acid supplements can aid in treating or preventing disease. Choline
14. Choline* is a water-soluble nutrient necessary for healthy cell membranes and metabolism [33]. Choline is important for the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which has a role in memory, mood and muscle control [33]. It’s also important for infant brain development, specifically in memory and learning functions, as well as overall growth and development [34][35].
Although the body produces a small amount of choline, humans must consume some in the diet as well to maintain good health, explains the Linus Pauling Institute, or LPI, at Oregon State University [36]. Calcium is needed for growing and building strong bones and teeth during childhood. Bones hold on to most of the calcium in the body. As much as 99% of the body's calcium is found in the bones. This needs to be ‘topped-up’ daily from our diet. Not getting enough calcium in childhood, may cause weak bones and fractures in later life [37]. The main source of calcium in Reju® Essentials Premium II for Kids is Calcium Citrate. Calcium citrate is the most easily absorbed and does not require stomach acid for absorption [38].

Iodine is an essential nutrient for children. It is important for growth, development and good health. Thyroid glands need iodine to produce the hormones that control metabolism, growth and development [41]. If children don’t get enough iodine in their diets, they might develop iodine deficiency. This can cause the thyroid gland to increase in size. An enlarged thyroid gland can cause swallowing and breathing difficulties [41]. Molybdenum is a cofactor that the body requires for the function of some enzymes. These enzymes are involved in processing sulfites and breaking down waste products and toxins in the body [61]. Boron is a natural mineral that we can get from plant-based foods. Some studies have indicated that boron may play a role in brain function. For example, one 1994 study published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives found that people who added 3.25 mg of boron to their diets were better at memory and hand-eye coordination tasks than people with low boron levels [62]. Boron is known to influence a variety of metabolic actions. It interacts with calcium, vitamin D, and magnesium, which are all important in bone metabolism [63][64][65].
